The City of Dreams Mediterranean, located in Zakaki, Limassol, will open it’s doors in July 2023. This is Europe’s first integrated casino resort which, apart from the casino, offers 500 luxury guest rooms and suites, 8 restaurants and bars which specialise in Mediterranean delights, Middle Eastern flavours and more.
There is also an indoor and outdoor event space which totals 8,000 m2, which will include the largest resort pool complex in Cyprus, offering entertainment and activities for all ages. It will include an adventure park, a Waverider and a Childrens’ Club named ‘Kid’s City’.
The resort will also offer functions including weddings, concerts and large scale conferences.
Additionally there will be a Spa and Fitness centre, designer shopping, and you can also enjoy guest DJ’s and famous acts from around the world.
This is described as a game changer for the island’s luxury hotel scene and it is expected that it will also boost conference tourism to the island, with the Cyprus Government calculating that the resort will bring in up to 700 million Euros yearly. This is the first venture in Europe by Melco who are renowned for their award winning standards within the entertainment industry.
